The Town...
"The Town" is a space at the front of Nursery where the surface is paved, allowing outdoor play in all weathers.
Play and learning opportunities in "The Town" feature a sand box, herb garden planted by the children and a large play den in the place the children call "The Street." Sometimes it's a house, other times a garden centre, garage, cafe and even a superhero hideout. Its up to the children to make it what they wish, aided by enthusiastic adults who are right there with them!
No matter the weather, there are plenty of learning and development opportunities - and more importantly, chances to have fun and stretch imaginations! - outdoors in "Our Town."
