Partnerships with Parents
We encourage parents to play an active role in the children's experiences at Nursery. We are proud to have also been recognised nationally by Nursery World magazine, for our unique approach as Winners of the National Award for Working with Parents.
We have embraced modern technology and are one of the few Nurseries in the whole of the UK to provide daily information to all parents via email. Every day, we will send you an email with details of your child's day at Nursery, usually with a photograph, so you can see for yourself what adventures they have had with us. We will also tell you about the food they enjoyed, their nap, if they had one, and what their toileting or nappies have been during the day. This is sent to you by email, and is also available via our specialist app, Parentzone, so you can view it at your convenience. You can also email back to us, telling us about anything you may have forgotten to discuss with us. Parentzone also has the facility for you to send us photographs and activities that you have been doing at home, so we can build on these interests at Nursery.
Our parents really appreciate our way of communicating and have told us that they find it quite refreshing and comforting to have so much information at their fingertips.
